Export XD files to code with Avocode [ PC & Mac ]

Download

In today’s video, I show you how to take your Adobe XD files and export them a developer/team handoff tool called, Avocode on either PC or Mac.

As UI/UX designers, an important part of our design process is handing off our design files to developers and other team members for feedback and further development of products.

What makes Avocode a great hand off too is its ability to export code to make a developers job easier, allowing your team/clients to leave feedback and go back to track the history of design revisions, and helping to keep all members of a team on the same page.

Exporting your files is as simple as dragging them from your folder into Avocode (no plugins or software to use) and Avocode will import all of your artboards as well as your layer structure exactly as it was created within Adobe XD.

Does avacode can export the all the webpage to HTML?

Reply

Honestly, the title is misleading. I can't just straight up export my entire XD file to code with Avocode.
I can't export:
positions of items
an entire artboard
contents
among other things

Guys this isn't a good thing for the most of the project, you have to work on your code for build a responsive layout that allows you to perform the app on all devices you want, Avocado generate a static code, for only one device, i suggest to use it only for assets, download them and work on it on android studio, or wherever you want.
PS : The main layout should be the Constraint layout.

After watching this video, i think avocode is what i am looking for. I am invision but I cannot generate codes and for the price i am paying for invision for projects it is better for me to switch to Avocode

I do love the idea of avocode but just feel that its just easier coding it straight from xd. Avocode feels like extra step plus it has monthly subscription.

P.S -I like how you reply to every single comment, keep it up man!
