Hi i just tried out Zorin 15 Core today and am keen to learn about this! So one needs a physical USB cable to connect the linux machine and Android phone correct? Is there a method to mirror screen wireless over the same wifi/LAN network for example? Keep up the good work!

/system/bin/sh: screenrecord: not found
and then:
pipe:: Invalid data found when processing inputKB sq= 0B f=0/0

UPDATE: I FOUND THE SOLUTION (SORT OF)
1) I found out that you need the USB Debug mode on on your Android; by default, it is usually off so you have to switch it on in the settings;
2) HUAWEI USERS CANNOT USE THIS METHOD. Huawei has unabled the use of the screenrecord command from bash, so it will never work. I searched online but it seems there's no solution for that.

Dude I am looking at the shell screen like an idiot , the device is running I can get a screen shot and See it is running. You should include if I am supposed to run a player to catch the pipe because nothing comes up just the shell command screen exactly same with yours …
